SY0-701 version of the CompTIA Security+ exam is scheduled to be launched on November 7, 2023.
The SY0-601 version of the exam was introduced on November 12, 2020, and will retire on July 1, 2024
Therefore, candidates who want to take the SY0-601 exam have until July 1, 2024, to do so. If someone wants to take the SY0-701 exam, they will need to wait until it is launched on November 7, 2023.
